We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer for our client in Stockholm!

The role

You'll be working with an exciting deep-tech start-up working at the frontier of engineering, cloud-native platforms, and intelligent design automation. The product is built for scale, complexity, and precision powering workflows that blend applied AI with distributed systems.

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with a strong infrastructure focus. This role sits at the heart of both product feature delivery and platform architecture. You'll help scale and harden the backend while improving the systems that let them ship fast, securely, and reliably.

Requirements:-

• 5+ years experience in Software Engineering and Distributed systems
• Strong backend programming expertise in Python.
• Worked with CI/CD pipelines, containerised environments (Kubernetes), and AWS
• Hands on experience with Infrastructure automation using Terraform/Terragrunt
• Fluent English Speaking

Nice to have:-

• Experience with complex real-time data flows or simulation-heavy workloads
• Deep familiarity with web sockets, data synchronisation, or stateful architectures
• Comfort operating in an early-stage, high-trust start-up environment
