Backend Developer

Assignment Description

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join an exciting project focused on developing the next generation of Condition Monitoring Solutions. The goal is to provide actionable insights based on machine data to help industrial machines operate longer and more efficiently. You will contribute to the development of a web application that delivers an outstanding user experience, enabling users to detect and resolve machinery issues quickly and effectively.

In this role, you will work in small, autonomous teams that thrive on trust and collaboration. The role requires initiative, strong teamwork skills, and a deep drive to learn and grow. You will face a steep but rewarding learning curve while working with complex industrial applications, gaining valuable experience in a supportive and innovative environment from day one.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the backend of the Condition Monitoring application.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters for application deployment.
• Create and manage release pipelines.
• Integrate data management capabilities for handling large datasets and real-time information.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of the application across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Perform testing, debugging, and documentation to support deployment and maintenance.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Git and agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with security best practices, data encryption, and authentication methods.
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB).
• Ability to work effectively in autonomous, high-trust teams.
• Experience with containerization technologies (mainly Kubernetes).
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new domains and products.
• Solid experience with microservice architecture and AWS services.
• Fluent in English.
• Understanding of message queuing technologies (e.g., MQTT).
• A preference for collaboration and teamwork.
• Experience in backend development, preferably in industrial or other complex systems.
  
  

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience with Golang.
• Fluency in Swedish.
