As a Project Manager in Digital & IT at SAS, you will be instrumental in driving the successful delivery of technology projects that align with our strategic goals. You will oversee planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects meet business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
Challenges You Will Work On
In this exciting and dynamic role, you will oversee the creation of detailed project plans and schedules aligned with scope, objectives, and deliverables. You will tackle the intricate task of managing resources, budgets, and risks while fostering a collaborative and transparent team culture. As the main point of contact for project execution, you will coordinate with stakeholders across Digital & IT and beyond. Your ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders will be crucial in driving alignment, managing expectations, and ensuring continuous improvement.
The Team
As part of our newly created Office of the CIO in Digital & IT, you will be part of a high-performing and diverse team composed of talented professionals from various backgrounds. Our team values collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. We support each other and thrive on creating a positive and inclusive work environment where everyone can succeed. You’ll work closely with demand model specialists, project teams and stakeholders, collaborating with the PMO Lead and portfolio management team to align practices. Everyone in the team will contribute to the portfolio management community of practice within SAS driving the development of our project management practices across the organization.
To Be Successful, We Believe You Have
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage project teams.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Strong facilitation and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proactive problem-solving, conflict resolution, and risk management skills.
- Structured, analytical mindset with a strong drive to achieve results.
- A university degree in IT, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Preferably 3+ years of experience in Project Management or a related delivery role.
- Experience working in IT roles such as software development or IT systems.
- Commitment to work from the office 3 days per week.

Additional Information

- Desired start date: 15/11/2025
- Position: Fulltime (100%) starting with a 6-month probation period
- This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
- To be eligible for this position you need an EU-work permit. Please note that we ask you to inform us if you currently have a valid EU-work permit.
