Job Description:
We are looking to hire a DevOps Intern to partner with graphics engineering and infrastructure teams to develop and optimize software automation solutions which will improve time to market for cutting edge products and ensure that Intel graphics software is delivered with a repeatable and scalable process. This position will be part of a global engineering organization supporting next-generation engineering innovations. Primary areas of contribution would be CI/CD pipeline enablement and optimization, graphics software compilation, signing, security scanning, packaging, and releasing to customers.
Areas Of Responsibility Include
- Support tools for continuous build, code signing and scanning, and release management.
- Improving and adapting our release processes to changing business needs.
- Evaluate and optimize the tool chain to leverage or develop automation tools, focusing on scale and efficiency.
- We are looking for someone that is a self-starter, ready to learn new languages and technologies, and enjoys working with a diverse set of people to create a collaborative community of software development.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Student status in computer science, computer engineering or other science/engineering related field.
Candidate Should Also Have Knowledge With The Following
- Skill with one or more scripting languages, Python and Go preferred.
- Modern/distributed SCM systems, particularly Git/GitHub.
- Knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of Networking protocols.
- Devops skills and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) knowledge.
- Knowledge about Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration would be a plus.

The Software and AI (SAI) Team drives customer value by enabling differentiated experiences through leadership AI technologies and foundational software stacks, products, and services. The group is responsible for developing the holistic strategy for client and data center software in collaboration with OSVs, ISVs, developers, partners and OEMs. The group delivers specialized NPU IP to enable the AI PC and GPU IP to support all of Intel's market segments. The group also has HW and SW engineering experts responsible for delivering IP, SOCs, runtimes, and platforms to support the CPU and GPU/accelerator roadmap, inclusive of integrated and discrete graphics.
