Head of Technology

About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Technology to lead our technology organization through a period of transformation and growth. This role requires a strategic technology leader with proven expertise in cloud architecture, DevSecOps, AI-driven innovation, and large-scale digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of technology strategy, software development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
• Oversee DevOps and DevSecOps practices, ensuring continuous delivery with embedded security and compliance.
• Drive modernization of legacy systems toward multi-cloud and microservices architectures.
• Partner with business and product leaders to define and deliver innovative digital payment, open banking, and e-wallet solutions.
• Build and mentor high-performing teams through a collaborative, agile, and data-driven culture.
• Ensure technology governance, regulatory compliance, and business continuity in accordance with BDDK and ISO 27001 standards.
• Establish key technology metrics and guide execution of IT roadmaps to accelerate time-to-market and efficiency.
• Act as a bridge between executive management and engineering teams, fostering communication and alignment.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in cloud computing (AWS, Azure), AI & data platforms, DevSecOps, and digital product development.
• Strong understanding of open banking, payment systems, and card processing technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large technology teams and drive organization-wide transformation.
• Experience managing multi-country IT operations and complex regulatory environments.
• Executive presence with a hands-on approach and strong stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent command of English; Turkish fluency preferred.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
