What You´ll Do
- Support the development of the IMEA and EE market/region demand plan in each cycle
- Reviews sales history, investigates outliers, and provides validation to the Forecast Business Analytics team
- Collaborates with Marketing, Commercial, and Finance to gather and challenge demand enrichment inputs by considering market insights, category growths, promotions, etc.
- Co-chair S&OE meetings to track supply chain KPIs and ensure necessary actions are taken
- Assists in reviewing and providing inputs for portfolio segmentation (ABC XYZ)
- Act as gatekeeper for validating the forecast of new product innovations based on similar products
- Manage Phase-In and Phase-Out processes for new launches, source changes, and global projects
- Provides demand scenarios for local/sub-regional S&OP monthly cycle
- Ensure proactive management of slow-moving and obsolete (SLOB) inventory by implementing early-warning systems, driving root-cause analysis, and coordinating timely mitigation actions by aligning with Sales & Marketing for liquidation plans.
- Act as the primary escalation point for supply crisis, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Actively participating in regular alignment meetings with regional and global teams.
- University degree in Industrial Engineering or a relevant discipline
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in demand planning, ideally in FMCG and/or Chemical sector and Business Planning.
- Strong knowledge of Demand Planning and Supply Chain Management, with experience in end-to-end processes.
- Data Analytics & Business Intelligence (BI) proficiency for informed decision-making.
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel and related ERP systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with all levels of management.
