Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance development tools – Design and implement VS Code extensions for the nRF Connect SDK, optimizing developer workflows.
- Improve development user experience – Identifying and creating new user experiences for embedded development workflows with frontend skills.
- Build cross-platform solutions – Develop robust PC software that runs smoothly on Windows, Linux, and macOS for embedded engineers worldwide.
- Collaborate with experts across disciplines – Work alongside firmware, system, and frontend engineers to create high-quality embedded development experiences.
- Ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions – Follow best practices, including code reviews, CI/CD, automated testing, and documentation, to deliver scalable software.
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of application development in TypeScript or similar language
- Knowledge of embedded software development is a plus
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to debug and optimize embedded applications.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-driven and proactive team player who is passionate about embedded technology and developer tooling.
