About the Role

We’re looking for a Mid/Senior Backend Developer with expertise in PHP and Laravel to join our growing team in Amsterdam. In this role, you’ll work on impactful projects, collaborating with talented engineers to develop robust, scalable systems that power seamless e-commerce experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain high-performance, well-documented APIs.
• Build robust backend systems with a focus on microservices architecture.
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks to ensure high quality.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers and freelancers to scale and optimize systems.
• Continuously improve existing solutions with clean, maintainable code.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a focus on API development.
• Expertise in PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with VueJS or ReactJS.
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with agile development environments.
