We have an urgent requirement for Senior Network/Firewall Engineer(Fortigate firewall) for our client based at Dubai

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network/Firewall Engineer to join our team for a FortiGate firewall implementation project in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Fortinet products and strong networking knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, configure, and manage FortiGate firewalls.
  • Utilize FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer for centralized management and monitoring.
  • Ensure network security and integrity through proper firewall policies and configurations.
  • Work with switching and wireless technologies, including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver network solutions as per project requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance on firewall and network-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Fortinet products: FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer.
  • Solid understanding of firewall concepts (product-agnostic).
  • Good knowledge of switching concepts and configurations.
  • Knowledge of wireless concepts and configuration.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in network and security engineering.

Preferred

  • Certifications such as Fortinet NSE or other relevant network/firewall certifications.
  • Experience in large-scale deployments and multi-site environments.
