As Developer, the successful candidate will work across front- and back-end systems, taking full ownership of end-to-end projects. They will leverage a range of technologies and architectures to design, implement, and deploy solutions that enhance user experience. Reporting to the Business Applications Manager, the Developer will apply strong expertise in web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages to deliver high-quality software in a forward-thinking environment.
Day to Day
- Engage in all phases of software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
- Architect and guide the development of scalable, end-to-end systems
- Design and build system integrations using integration tools, stored procedures, and APIs
- Develop and maintain applications using C# in Microsoft environments using Microsoft frameworks
- Create, support, and optimize SQL scripts and stored procedures on MS SQL Server
- Develop and support automation solutions using PowerAutomate and PowerApps
- Implement front-end and back-end features, integrating various system components
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to standards
- Write and execute unit and integration tests to ensure functionality. Performance and quality assurance
- Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned
- Degree or certification in computer science, information technology or engineering with relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Power Automate and Power Platform
- Skilled in SQL development and MS SQL Server management
- Experienced in building system integrations using SSIS, Data Factory, or code
- Knowledge of IIS, web security, and secure development best practices
- Strong understanding of software development principles, testing, and debugging
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Proficient in application optimization and performance tuning
- Familiar with Azure, Visual Studio, SSMS, and task tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- Awareness of user-centric design and creating intuitive interfaces
