We are embarking on an exciting journey to develop a new, cloud-based Platform as a Service (PaaS) that will be utilized by TELUS and our global partners. As the Senior Program Manager for the SmartHome Platform, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of this mission-critical initiative. This is an exciting time to join as we’re still in the early stages of designing and developing this cloud-native platform. We’re dedicated to providing innovative solutions that connect people and businesses, and leveraging technology to enhance the lives of our customers and drive digital transformation. This role will be reporting to the Director of Tenant Experience for SmartHome.

Who you are:

You are an experienced Senior Program Manager who will lead a complex, multi-faceted program with numerous interdependent components. This role requires a strategic leader who can oversee and be accountable for various deliverables across multiple teams, ensuring timely execution of both internal and customer-facing commitments. A key emphasis is placed on delivering results within established timelines and providing comprehensive reporting at both detailed and summary levels.

What you’ll do in this role:

• Program Strategy and Execution
• Developing and implementing comprehensive program strategies, managing projects from inception to completion, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Working closely with diverse teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders, to coordinate efforts and achieve program objectives.
• Data-Driven Decision Making
• Utilizing data and metrics to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive informed decision-making processes.
• Leadership and Communication
• Providing updates to senior leadership, managing stakeholder communications, and leading teams to deliver high-quality results.
• Risk Management
• Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to prevent escalation.

Great to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• 7-10 years of program management experience, preferably in a complex, multi-team environment.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification is highly desirable.

This role demands strong project management skills, analytical capabilities, and the ability to innovate and lead complex projects from conception to completion.
