Business Intelligence Analyst (12-Month Contract & Full-Time Openings)
Location: Greater Toronto Area (Remote, with occasional travel to Markham)
Start Date: Early November
Compensation:
- Contract: $60–65/hr (inclusive)
- Full-Time: $70–$80K base salary + 3 weeks vacation + 5 wellness days + annual bonus + RRSP matching
We’re looking for experienced Business Intelligence Analysts to join a growing analytics team supporting new client implementations and ongoing reporting initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive on turning complex data into clear, actionable insights through impactful dashboards and reports.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models (PBIX, DAX).
- Build high-performance SQL queries and data views for reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver business reporting needs.
- Translate data into meaningful visualizations that support decision-making.
- Partner with technical teams to extract and standardize data from multiple sources.
- Deliver analytical insights and recommendations that drive business performance.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Power BI Developer.
- Proficiency in DAX and PBIX (ability to write complex measures from scratch).
- Strong SQL development experience (joins, CTEs, window functions).
- Familiarity with SSRS / RDL reporting.
- Exposure to Azure, Databricks, or similar data warehouse/lakehouse environments is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of data storytelling.
- Background in healthcare or pharmaceutical data is a plus, but not required.
