We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications from concept to deployment. You will work across both front-end and back-end systems, provide technical leadership, and help shape our development practices while collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications, APIs, and databases to meet business requirements.

• Create responsive HTML & CSS/SASS layouts from designs provided by our creative team.

• Collaborate with the creative and product teams to enhance functionality, usability, and conversion rates.

• Architect scalable and secure applications, ensuring cross-platform and mobile optimisation.

• Implement robust data security measures and follow standard security best practices.

• Identify opportunities for improvement in both code and processes, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

• Write automated tests to ensure software quality and maintainability.

• Manage production applications and infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.

• Estimate work effort and contribute to planning and roadmap discussions.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent training/experience.

• 2+ years of professional full-stack development experience.

• Proficiency in PHP, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SASS/LESS/SCSS, and Git.

• Strong experience with Laravel or another modern PHP framework.

• Strong experience with Vue.js or other modern front-end frameworks.

• Solid understanding of relational databases and experience writing efficient, secure queries.

• Experience designing application architecture and implementing secure coding practices.

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development.

• Experience conducting code reviews and collaborating in a team environment.

• Knowledge of Linux-based distributions and comfort working in a CLI environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Node.js, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Experience with Python.

• Experience managing production infrastructure at scale.

• Passion or experience in machine learning and AI-driven applications.
