Job Description
This role will be based in Sunnyvale, New York, or Chicago, depending on which location the candidate approved for hire resides.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
We are looking for a Sr. Associate, Business Intelligence to help build and scale operational analytics, data foundations, and reporting capabilities for LinkedIn’s Customer Success and Scaled Solutions operations. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of data foundations and reporting solutions that are (a) purpose-built for our stakeholders, (b) future-proofed for a rapidly changing customer success landscape, (c) scalable across all lines of business, and (d) designed to enable scaled optimization and to surface actionable insights to the right people at the right time.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on large cross-functional programs requiring close collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, enabling business partners across global Customer Success and Scaled Solutions teams to make informed decisions, manage risks, and identify opportunities across multiple business areas. Furthermore, you will own the central reporting infrastructure, core data foundations and other exciting analytics related initiatives.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in bringing structure to ambiguity, designing data-driven solutions, and measuring business and consumer impact. You have substantial experience with analytical tools and techniques, and bring a solid skill-set in analyzing data and communicating recommendations. You combine analytical rigor, investigative skills and a growth mindset to build data driven learnings at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end development of scalable data assets including data foundations, dashboards and automated reports that augment our stakeholders’ ability to make effective decisions quickly
- Execute global data analytics initiatives including solution design, roadmap development, prioritization, and successful implementation
- Write SQL/Python queries to extract necessary data, analyze the results to generate actionable insights and present the findings either in Gainsight, PowerBI, or other similar reporting tools
- Partner closely with our Member and Customer Success teams to turn data into action, and provide recommendations to influence and shape the product strategy and roadmap
- Proactively identify opportunities to scale insights through automation and self-serve mechanisms
- Make business recommendations, conveying findings at multiple levels including managers and peers through visual displays of quantitative information
- Lead engagements with cross-functional teams including, Marketing, Data Science, Engineering, and Business Operations teams in order to identify opportunities, design, and deliver results.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Cognitive Science, Business Information Technology, or a related technical or quantitative field
- 6+ years of relevant work experience
- 4+ years of experience in SQL
- 4+ years of experience developing reporting solutions and dashboards using visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)
- Certification in Power BI and/or Microsoft Power Platforms with ability to streamline visualization capabilities and drive reporting self-service to key business partners
- Demonstrated record of intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic and drive for success
- Strong management skills for planning and executing complex multi-team projects that crosses multiple domains
- Experience in Gainsight administration or similar role.
- Experience using data to develop metrics, assess performance, run exploratory analyses, find improvement areas, and generate recommendations to improve business performance
- Experience with statistical modeling, Python/R scripts and packages
- Experience with experimental design and A/B testing
- Strong written and verbal communicator who is organized, able to think entrepreneurially and works well in a cross-collaboration environment
- Experience presenting data or other technical concepts to stakeholders; ability to clearly communicate work to varying audiences
- Experience with CRM systems, including Salesforce, Gainsight, and Dynamics 365

The pay range for this role is $112,000 to $185,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
