We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Product Details Pages (PDP) team, which is part of the Commercial Digital area. The team’s mission is to provide engaging and comprehensive information about our models, ensuring potential customers can make informed decisions online. Through our consumer-facing applications, your work will help shape a key section of our website that reaches millions of users in over 100 countries.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our engineering manager, contributing to technical direction such as driving best practices, and guiding other team members. You’ll be part of a high-impact product team, working with technologies like React, Next.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL to deliver seamless and user-focused experiences.
Our primary locations are central Stockholm and Lindholmen, Gothenburg, with this position based in Gothenburg.

What You Will Do
As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the PDP team, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping a dynamic and responsive online experience for millions of global users. You will among other things do this:
- Development, Testing, and Maintenance of Systems: Take a lead role in developing, testing, and maintaining performant websites and headless content management systems that serve millions of global users. Ensure the stability, responsiveness, and scalability of these systems by implementing best practices in testing, performance optimization, and proactive maintenance.
- Architectural Decision-Making: Take ownership of architectural choices, selecting the right tools, and structures for long-term scalability and performance.
- Hands-on Problem Solving: Dive deep into complex technical challenges, providing hands-on solutions and setting a high standard for problem-solving within the team. Lead by example with a proactive approach to debugging, optimizing, and refining code.
- Mentorship and Skill Development: Actively support the technical growth of team members by sharing knowledge, conducting code reviews, and offering guidance. Provide mentorship on design patterns, best practices, and problem-solving strategies to elevate the team’s skillset.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as a technical liaison between the team and other product and engineering teams, ensuring smooth integration, clear communication, and alignment on shared initiatives or dependencies.
- Continuous Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance team productivity, including refining development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and code review processes. Encourage a feedback loop where improvements are continuously sought and implemented.
- Technical Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks early, proactively communicating potential challenges or resource needs to stakeholders and ensuring contingencies are in place for complex projects.
- Championing Quality Standards: Ensure adherence to high standards in code quality, testing, and performance optimization. Lead initiatives to document best practices, enforce style guides, and maintain a high bar for production-ready code.
To thrive in this role, you should have a robust background in building front-end products, and we’re also looking for the following qualities:
- Proven expertise in hands-on web development with a strong focus on high-quality, maintainable code that supports long-term scalability and performance.
- Strong collaboration skills, effectively partnering with designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver cohesive, engaging web experiences that meet user and business goals.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Next.js along with practical experience in GraphQL, enabling the development of responsive, data-driven applications.
- Balanced approach to developer experience, performance, and scalability, optimizing workflows and delivering valuable, seamless experiences for end-users.
- Data-driven mindset, utilizing metrics and analytics to guide decisions and enhance product performance and user engagement.
- Experience with agile methodologies, software development best practices, and design patterns, bringing structure and efficiency to development workflows.
- Versatile and adaptive team player who can take on various roles when needed, such as individual contributor, mentor, and technical lead, to drive team success.
- Initiative-driven, continuously seeking ways to enhance workflows and improve outcomes for yourself and your team members.
