The Android Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications. He/She has a robust background in Android development, a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem, and a proven track record of delivering successful mobile applications.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features for Android applications
- Lead the end-to-end development process, ensuring the high quality and timely delivery of mobile applications
- Architect and build scalable, maintainable, and efficient code for Android applications using Kotlin
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate and consume APIs, ensuring smooth data flow between the mobile app and server
- Stay updated with the latest Android trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance the quality and performance of our applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other technical problems that may arise
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in native Android app development using Kotlin
- Strong understanding of Android architecture, UI/UX guidelines, and best practices
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integration of external services
- Solid understanding of mobile design principles and user experience
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience mentoring or leading junior developers is a plus
