The Game Development Technical Specialist will support the development of Medimon, an educational creature-collector game designed to enhance health science literacy. This role emphasizes assisting in implementing and testing prototype gameplay mechanics, integrating assets, and supporting research-related data collection tools. The position will work closely under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI) and interdisciplinary collaborators. Duties may include: Assisting with implementation, testing, and optimization of prototype gameplay features in Unity. Integrating art and animation assets into the Unity game engine. Supporting development of systems for in-game data collection to track engagement and learning outcomes. Performing debugging, playtesting, and version control (GitHub). Preparing documentation and providing progress updates to the PI. Other support duties as assigned.
Required Experience
Demonstrated familiarity with Unity and C#. Ability to work collaboratively and independently on assigned tasks.
