Key Responsibility
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level networks using Cisco, Palo Alto, and Juniper technologies. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of our network systems across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure using Cisco routers and switches.
Implement and manage Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies, threat prevention, and VPN configurations.
Administer Juniper network devices, ensuring optimal routing, switching, and firewall performance.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related initiatives and resolve escalated issues.
Maintain documentation for network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures.
Ensure compliance with security standards and assist in audits and vulnerability assessments.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
Strong proficiency with Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Palo Alto PAN-OS, and Juniper Junos.
Experience with network monitoring tools and protocols (SNMP, NetFlow, etc.).
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall rule sets.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Certifications:
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher
Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA)
