We are staffing a team of strong engineers to design, build and operate new managed services for developers, based on the best Open Source software, in close cooperation with the 3rd party companies. We are looking for engineers who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, and value healthy working environment where open, diverse, respectful, care, support are the culture. We expect engineers to write high-quality code, and own test and the DevOps lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this role include different aspects of building an Azure service - such as prototyping, developing resource provider, authoring Azure portal extensions, building integration data plane, handling live site issues, driving security compliance etc. You will have opportunities to work across the stack to build new Azure services.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of coding experience in a modern programming language such as C#, C++, or Go, Python
- One-year experience in building, shipping and operating reliable, distributed solutions
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in Linux environment.
- Experience working with open source projects
- Self-driven, can work independently and is capable of dealing with ambiguities
- Experience with Docker and DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, DC/OS, Docker Swarm
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Azure or AWS
- Experience in site-reliability engineering practices.
- Experience working with Resource provider, Azure portal, Azure Security and compliance of existing Azure services is a big plus
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
