Position: Python Engineer (code agent experience)

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $70–$90/hour

Location: Remote (applicants must be based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand)

Duration: Minimum 2 weeks, with potential for extension

Commitment: Flexible, 10–20 hours/week with possible increase to 40 hours

Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided)

• Use coding agents (e.g., Codex, Claude code) to perform realistic coding tasks on real-world codebases supporting next-generation ML applications
• Collaborate with AI research teams to build robust, high-performance software systems
• Contribute to open source projects and work on sophisticated personal projects shared publicly on GitHub
• Communicate clearly and precisely with team members through written and verbal means

Requirements

• Extensive experience using coding agents as part of software engineering workflow
• Fluency in Python Programming Languages
• Strong portfolio of open source contributions and sophisticated personal projects
• Degree in Computer Science from a prestigious university in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand
• Excellent attention to detail and rigorous problem-solving ability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
