Mayten, a mobility technology company based in Brussels, is seeking a talented and experienced Software Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, robust APIs to support our mobile and web clients. You will also play a key role in communicating with stakeholders, project managers, and other developers to ensure that our long-term technology roadmap is on track.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable, robust APIs to support mobile and web clients
• Architect and develop mobile applications, integrating them with constructed APIs as needed
• Collaborate with team members, management, and the product team to ensure timely and quality delivery of our products
• Break down larger technical features into smaller, manageable tasks
• Manage and optimize scalable, distributed systems on the cloud
• Regularly communicate with stakeholders, project managers, quality assurance teams, and other developers to ensure the success of our long-term technology roadmap

Qualifications:

• Good experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of Firebase and Google Cloud Platform
• Good understanding of NoSQL databases
• Experience with React Native is a big plus
• Experience with GBFS/GTFS feed is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent/Native English
