Network Engineer – Daily Rate Contract
Working Arrangement: Onsite, 5 days per week
Initial 6 months daily rate contract
Join a world-class technology leader and help shape the future of secure, high-performance global networks. We’re seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance Dexcom’s IT and OT network infrastructure across our global operations.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring network reliability, scalability, and security — collaborating with a talented global team to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Configure, maintain, and optimise LAN, WAN, and Wireless networks in alignment with industry best practices.
- Implement and monitor network security controls to safeguard manufacturing and building automation systems.
- Manage and enhance the Network Access Control (NAC) solution to ensure secure connectivity.
- Proactively monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and apply preventative measures.
- Partner with global and regional IT teams to assess, strengthen, and evolve the organisation’s network security posture.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, standards, and operational procedures.
- Ensure full compliance with IT/OT network policies, standards, and audit requirements.
What You Bring
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5–8 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer, ideally within enterprise or manufacturing environments.
- Strong technical expertise in Cisco (preferred) and/or Extreme Networks routing, switching, and Wi-Fi technologies.
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, network troubleshooting, and performance monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and tools such as ServiceNow.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
