Job Title: Senior Data Analyst
Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid)
Contract Type: PAYE or Day Rate Contract (3-month Rolling Contracts)

Overview:
The candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, performing statistical analyses, and providing insights that drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. This role will involve collaborating with various departments to support research initiatives and enhance operational efficiency through data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large data sets from a variety of sources.
- Conduct statistical analyses to identify trends, correlations, and patterns in data.
- Develop and maintain statistical models to support forecasting and predictive analytics.
- Create and present comprehensive reports and visualizations that communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and validation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support for various projects.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- Expert hands-on proficiency in data analysis tools as Power BI (including Power Query, DAX, use of Time dimensions)
- Experience in cleaning, processing and analyzing a wide variety of data types, ranging from structured tabular datasets from mature data platforms to sentiment extraction from unstructured text data to geospatial mapping data for location-based analysis and insights.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Exposure to the use of Copilot with Power BI (Desktop and Service)
- Desirable knowledge of the data involved in market analysis and related programs
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-practice environment.
- Preferable experience working for the Public Sector, preferably on multi – departmental projects.
Certifications (Desirable):
- Microsoft Power BI Associate certificate – PL300
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics or a related field and/or proven significant hands-on experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role (10+ years)
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data storage and processing and how to connect Power BI with storage in the cloud.
