What You Will Do as a Senior Software Engineer:


  • Design, build, and maintain secure, high-quality Ruby and Rails applications and APIs
  • Work across Ruby and JVM-powered Ruby environments, integrating with internal services where needed
  • Develop resilient integrations (REST/JSON and SOAP) and implement robust background processing
  • Ensure quality through code reviews, automated testing, and performance optimization
  • Contribute to delivery and operability using Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and modern CI/CD practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver value continuously
  • Participate in technical spikes, architecture discussions, and mentor peers


Our Tech Stack:


  • Ruby on Rails, JRuby, Redis, MySQL
  • Active Directory, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GitLab, Node.js


What We Expect:


  • Strong experience with Ruby/Ruby on Rails building secure, scalable web applications
  • Proficiency with SQL databases and background processing tools
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, Git, containers, and CI/CD; familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud platforms
  • A quality mindset - tests, reviews, and production readiness in a regulated environment
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to own problems end-to-end
  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level


Nice to Have:


  • Experience with JRuby and Java interoperability
  • Knowledge of React for future frontend development
  • QA automation exposure and secure coding practices
  • Familiarity with enterprise authentication and XML parsing
