We specialize in the development, manufacturing, and integration of autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and electro-optical surveillance systems. Our products are widely used in defense, security, civil, and industrial sectors around the world. We are looking for a Data Engineer to support the Finance Department. You will build and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data is accurate, consistent, and well-governed through close collaboration with teams across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Ensure data quality consistency and governance.
- Document data flows, schemes and business logic.
- Collaborate with other teams to support Power BI Prepare reporting.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Prepare semantic models and optimize DAX queries.
- Monitor and tune data warehouse performance.
- Troubleshoot data issues and pipeline failures.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience (or strong interest) in working with financial data, reporting, and analytics.
- Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Power BI preferred).
- Understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and SQL.
- Basic knowledge of DAX queries and semantic model design.
- Awareness of data governance and quality standards in financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with finance and IT teams and communicate insights clearly.
- Good Latvian and English language skills in written and spoken.
