QA / Test Engineer

What would be your mission?

• Understanding business needs, functional (User Stories, Use Cases) and technical specifications to define testing strategies and plans for applications
• Writing detailed, clear, and relevant test cases in Azure DevOps, covering all aspects of the application
• Preparing data sets required for test execution
• Executing test campaigns (manual and automated) via Azure DevOps according to established plans; actively contributing to the setup, execution, and maintenance of automated test scripts using Cypress
• Identifying and documenting bugs with precision (reproduction steps, expected vs actual results, screenshots, logs) and tracking them using a bug management tool (integrated with Azure DevOps)
• Designing and executing regression test campaigns (manual and automated) to ensure new features or fixes do not introduce regressions
• Participating in integration testing between microservices and with external systems
• Assisting business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases and helping formalize their feedback
• Producing test progress reports, test campaign summaries, and quality indicators (number of bugs, test coverage, etc.) from Azure DevOps
• Collaborating closely with Business Analysts to understand requirements, with Developers to analyze and resolve bugs, and with Project Managers to monitor quality
• Contributing to the improvement of methodologies, tools (Azure DevOps), and testing processes, with a focus on increasing automated test coverage (Cypress)

What kind of profile are we looking for?

• At least 5 years of experience as an Application Tester or QA/Test Engineer on complex web application projects (Angular, .NET)
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools for test management
• Experience testing ERP or business applications in finance or population management domains, especially in migration contexts, is a plus
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using CI/CD tools (GitLab)
• Software testing certification (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level or Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer) is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail in test design, execution, and bug reporting
• Proven ability to deliver against deadlines
• Team player with good communication skills
• Excellent written and spoken English and French
