Senior HR Assistant - Netherlands

Midtronics has an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Assistant who will be responsible for building stronger teams, which is imperative for our growth strategy. To help us continue our path to growth, we are looking for someone to help us improve the talent level and performance of the organization. We need someone who is creative, a builder, and passionate about helping the organization learn and improve. Key Responsibilities

  • Understand Midtronics - our mission, values, products
  • Talent Strategy –recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development.
    • Advance current Talent Acquisition strategies and systems to ensure that we have the right talent in the right positions for the business to succeed.
    • Develop an active network of sourcing avenues including professional networking, agencies, social networking, university partnerships, and technology to build a robust talent pipeline.
    • Work with managers to plan future needs, recruit to fill vacant positions, and provide development activity guidance to grow teams.
    • Manage the administrative process including employee files and records maintenance, Visa and work authorizations processes, etc.
  • People & Culture – assess employee engagement, morale, and turnover.
    • Activist for company culture building and implementing events and programs that boost morale and performance.
    • Provide support to employees in need, working through questions, concerns, issues, etc.
    • Improve company performance by supporting improved team performance.
    • Guide managers through navigating performance, discipline and/or other concerns.
  • Understand local employment laws and compliance.
    • Ensure proper completion and compliance with all relevant employment laws and legal standards.
  • Performance Management – Grow and advance performance management strategies and systems.
    • Execute employee evaluation and assessments; development and training; and other day-to-day tasks that support performance management and development strategies.
  • Build Credibility & Trust - with leadership & the team.
  • Communication Skills – clear and consistent, ability to deliver tough messages with empathy.
Requirements

  • Relevant undergraduate and/or graduate education.
  • 3-5 years' experience in human resources, talent acquisition and/or organizational development roles.
  • Small – mid-size company experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated analysis skills and aptitude.
  • Proven systems thinking approach.
  • Proven leadership ability.
  • English proficiency required.
