As a Technical Designer, you’ll strengthen user-centric thinking within the development team. You’ll frame the problem in the context of product goals and technical trade-offs, covering use cases, UX, prototyping, SME interviews, and domain analysis.
Technical skills required:
- Experience in technical design for gaming/simulation industry.
- C++ programming (can be at beginner level).
- UI design/front end experience (can be at beginner level).
- Scripting (can be at beginner level).
- Understand the concepts of trainees using simulations for learning.
- Knowledge of game design, knowledge of best practices in game design.
- Good understanding of technical context.
- Experience with game modding or similar (game development).
- Innovative and creative thinking.
- Thrives in collaborative environment.
- Ability to learn fast.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Design, develop and maintain software products
- Collaborate with other developers, stakeholders and customers.
- Formulate suitable product goals based on discussion with (technical) stakeholders.
- Ensure the solution meets user needs.
