Software Engineer

Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: Malmö or Helsingborg Hybrid - 3 days a week,

Employment Type: Contract

Summary:

• 7–10+ years in software/platform engineering with production ownership.
• Deep experience with at least one major public cloud (GCP preferred; Alicloud valued; AWS/Azure acceptable).
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and containers (operations, networking, security, multi-tenancy).
• Experience with serverless container platforms (GCP Cloudrun preferred)
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Proven experience running and improving GitOps delivery platforms (ArgoCD, Flux) andreusable CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions/Workflows or similar).
• Secrets management experience (Vault/GCP Secret Manager/Other)
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Golang and/or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• String observability and reliability practices (OTel, Prometheus/Grafana, SLIs/SLOs, incident response).
• Familiarity with secure software delivery: secrets management (Vault), image registries, SBOMs, dependency management.

Nice to have

• Backstage service catalog experience (plugins, taxonomy, adoption).
• Experience building IDPs or platform engineering teams at scale.
• Helm, package managers, and supply chain tooling.
• Multi-cloud exposure including Alicloud specifics.
• Knowledge of cost optimization and FinOps in cloud environments.
• Experience in multiple programming languages (TypeScript/JavaScript/GoLang/Python/Java/Kotlin/C/C++/others)
