Here, you’ll be the engineer who lays the AI cornerstone of a fast-scaling SaaS platform. Multiple platforms are being unified into one international product — and you’ll design the first standalone AI service that powers it. Every workflow you build will directly shape how courses are created, scaled, and delivered across Europe.

Job Description:

As an AI Engineer, you’ll take full ownership of designing and building an agentic AI service. You’ll combine LLMs, retrieval, and observability to make AI workflows reliable, auditable, and reusable.

• Agent-first – Build agentic workflows with LLMs, MCP and retrieval
• Infrastructure – Integrate indexing (OpenAI now, self-hosted later)
• Reliability – Design guardrails, logging, and monitoring for safe AI
• APIs & docs – Deliver clean APIs and documentation for other teams
• Impact – Define how AI is embedded in the platform for years to come

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years building agentic systems (LLMs, RAG, MCP, retrieval workflows)
• Strong coding in Python
• Experience with indexing (OpenAI, Pinecone, Meilisearch)
• API design skills and a documentation-first mindset
• Pragmatic, curious, able to translate workflows into agent architectures
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
