ABC Labs is looking for an exceptional HR Coordinator


ABC Labs is a technology-native care provider, diagnostics lab, biobank, and research organisation. Creating unified, exponentially improving, public health products


We are innovating at the frontier of diagnostics by combining software, robotics, data science, medical consultation, lab automation, and operational excellence to create end-to-end products that span the entire spectrum of user needs - and become exponentially more efficient over time.


Founded as an impact project during the pandemic, ABC grew into Sweden’s largest COVID-19 testing lab, conducting up to 28% of national testing under public health contracts exceeding $180 million. Our R&D efforts have led to three national screening programs and nine publications.


We are now applying this infrastructure to a new frontier: substance abuse testing at workplaces - a complex, highly regulated, and fragmented value chain growing at >10% CAGR across Europe and the U.S., and in urgent need of scalable, intelligent solutions.


Mission


Coordinate the key HR processes across the year - making sure core people routines are planned, executed, and documented - while also ensuring the office remains a vibrant, well-functioning hub for our team.


What you’ll do


--> Coordinate HR processes across the employee lifecycle: recruitment support, contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining HR systems.

--> Drive HR operations throughout the year:

--> Plan and track vacation schedules, approve vacation requests.

--> Coordinate with managers on annual Personal Development Reviews and salary reviews.

--> Ensure policies, documentation, and compliance are kept up to date.

-->Lead and document the company’s work environment processes.

--> Be the first point of contact for employees on HR- and office-related queries.

--> Coordinate with external providers (recruitment, payroll, benefits).

--> Champion workplace culture through office operations: supplies, events, travel, schedules, and facilities.

--> Plan and execute team gatherings, all-hands, and culture-building initiatives.

--> Bridge practical needs across teams—making sure people have what they need to be productive.


You are


--> Experienced in HR administration and comfortable driving structured processes (compliance, reviews, policies).

--> Organized and detail-oriented, with strong coordination skills.

--> Service-minded and people-focused - able to balance structure with flexibility.

--> Excited to build culture by combining HR excellence with responsibility for the physical workplace.

--> AI-forward and digitally savvy — constantly exploring how to scale and automate HR processes using new tools and technologies. You stay curious about AI, test new systems, and look for smarter ways to work.

--> You can give examples of AI tools you’ve tested (and for what).

--> You can describe what processes you’d automate for ABC Labs.

--> You learn new systems quickly and are eager to experiment.


Role Characteristics


--> Owns both structure (compliance, annual HR routines, documentation) and flow (office life, day-to-day problem solving).

--> Trusted to keep ABC’s “heartbeat” steady - ensuring people processes and workplace culture and operations run smoothly.


The Practical Stuff


Based in Stockholm (some travel may be required)

You’ll report directly to the CFO
