Responsibilities You'll Have

At present, over 200 Jit personnel are engaged in the completion of more than 60 projects for this Norwegian major provider of financial services with a global presence and a strong focus on modern technology. Furthermore, all projects are executed in international teams, giving constant exposure to the English language.

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a project for a leading financial group in the Nordic countries. You will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the design, development, and optimization of high-quality backend solutions that meet complex business requirements.
Responsibilities You'll Have
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservice applications
- Implement and optimize RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Hibernate
- Ensure high code quality and maintainability through testing and the use of quality tools (e.g., SonarQube)
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate credit risk domain requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews and promote best practices within the development team
- Strong experience with Java 11 or higher
- Proficiency in Spring Boot framework
- Experience in building RESTful APIs
- Hands-on experience with Hibernate and JUnit
- Good understanding of microservice architectures
- Familiarity with code quality tools such as SonarQube
- Understanding of the credit risk business domain
- Experience with PostgreSQL or Oracle databases
- Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architectures
