Job Description

Lead the assurance activities within the Risk & Assurance department, focusing on digital applications, infrastructure, services such as AI, Data, IoT, Cloud, Blockchain, Fintech, SaaS, Web & Mobile Applications, Cybersecurity and Emerging Technologies. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the interests of e& group and its verticals by ensuring corporate strategies, values and business goals are met through comprehensive assurance over digital applications, infrastructure, and services. The incumbent will drive the development and execution of the annual assurance plan, collaborate with key stakeholders, and provide expert guidance on digital transformation, cloud strategy and emerging technologies. By identifying and mitigating risks, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, the job role will enhance the organization’s AI & emerging technologies assurance.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the development of an annual risk-based audit plan and leverage subject matter expertise across respective domains including digital applications, infrastructure and services such as AI, Data, IoT, Cloud, Blockchain, Fintech, SaaS, Web & Mobile Applications, Cybersecurity, Customer Experience, DevOps, and Emerging Technologies ensuring comprehensive coverage to protect e& group and its verticals and adherence to applicable regulations and business standards.
  • Assist the VP/Digital, AI & Emerging Technology Assurance to establish and maintain a robust assurance framework across respective domains, encompassing strategy, risk management, annual plan, performance management, reporting, training and development to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and optimize resources.
  • Lead the planning and execution of comprehensive assurance activities across digital applications, infrastructure & services, and emerging technologies including risk-based internal audits, integrated cross-functional assignments and compliance audits.
  • Champion the integration of automated assurance processes, staying abreast of emerging risks, industry best practices, and technological advancements to continually refine audit methodologies.
  • Leveraging advanced technologies, such as AI and data analytics, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of execution and reporting while ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards applicable to the e& group, verticals and subsidiaries.
  • Lead and oversee internal audit reports across digital applications, infrastructure & services, and emerging technologies ensuring findings and recommendations are objective, actionable and aligned with stakeholders, thereby adding value to processes while supporting executive management in making informed decisions to mitigate risks.
  • Encourage innovative thinking and agile response to emerging challenges, driving process improvements and efficient practices within the audit framework.
  • Establish results-driven goals for the assurance resources and integrate a robust performance monitoring and feedback mechanism demonstrating resilience and adaptability in overcoming challenges to deliver high-quality results that align with e&’s strategic objectives, while ensuring ongoing, constructive feedback fosters continuous development and enhances the overall performance of pool resources.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging risks and challenges in digital environments, including Digital Transformation, Cloud Strategy and Emerging Technology, ensuring that the assurance program remains adaptable and resilient to changes in the environment

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelors Degree in IT / Telecom Engineering or related field; Professional Certification such as CISA.
  • 12+ years of audit experience in technology, digital services or related field, with at least 6+ years in leadership role, managing audit teams and projects
