iOS App Developer - Wealth Management Technology:
On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for an iOS App Developer - Wealth Management Technology for 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.
Job Description:
This role involves working with our client's application team, focusing on developing and supporting external client-facing iOS applications. The project emphasizes building robust, scalable applications and contributing to the technical culture in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
• Architect and build robust, scalable iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code with a strong emphasis on performance and reliability
• Dive deep into Apple APIs and solve real-world problems elegantly
• Optimize performance using profiling tools and concurrency strategies
• Mentor other developers and help shape the technical culture of our Calgary office
• Use AI tools to accelerate development
Mandatory Skills:
• Strong CS fundamentals, including memory management and concurrency
• Deep iOS expertise with UIKit, SwiftUI, and Apple ecosystem
• Ability to design modular, testable systems
• Curiosity and craftsmanship in development
• Ecosystem fluency with CI/CD and app lifecycle
• Clear communication skills
• Collaborative mindset
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience developing APIs
• Awareness of Android app development
• Strong user experience skills
Assignment Location:
Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This is a hybrid position with a requirement to work onsite 3 days a week.
