The Director of Operations will play a critical role in shaping the strategic and operational direction of the exchange. This leader will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement operational strategies to support business growth and scalability.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align operational goals with the company’s vision and objectives.

Operational Management:

• Oversee all aspects of exchange operations, including trading systems, customer support, and payment processing.
• Monitor and optimize workflows to enhance performance, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
• Ensure high availability and performance of trading platforms.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Establish robust risk management frameworks and policies.
• Liaise with legal and compliance teams to manage audits and regulatory reporting.

Team Leadership:

• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing operations team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Technology and Security:

• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure and reliable systems.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and implement cutting-edge solutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in operational leadership roles, preferably in fintech, crypto, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and trading platforms.
• Proven track record of scaling operations in a high-growth environment.
• Experience in compliance and regulatory frameworks within the financial sector.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with crypto exchange platforms and associated technologies.
• Familiarity with KYC/AML processes and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of API integrations and trading infrastructure.
