  • Contract Duration: 12 months (extension and conversion possible)

  • End: September 30, 2026
  • Pay Rate: C$50-C$60/hr
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, core business hours
Job Summary:
The Project Manager will lead medium-to-high complexity Learning & Development (L&D) projects within a major Canadian bank. The role focuses on implementing innovative learning solutions, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery in an Agile/hybrid environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive portfolio alignment with business priorities for L&D initiatives
  • Manage end-to-end planning and delivery of learning programs (ILT, eLearning, webinars, workshops)
  • Support vendor selection, engagement, and onboarding
  • Develop stakeholder engagement strategies and maintain strong relationships
  • Lead project reporting and communication with stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Ensure governance, risk, and issue management are maintained
  • Partner with L&D CoEs to develop delivery and change strategies
  • Conduct retrospectives and apply lessons learned for improvement
  • Stay current with Agile, hybrid, and L&D project management practices
  • Participate in PM community knowledge-sharing and continuous learning
Required Experience:
  • 7-10 years of project management experience
  • Proven ability to manage medium-to-large, complex projects
  • Strong Agile/Scrum experience
  • Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office Suite
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • L&D project management experience (highly preferred)
  • Banking/financial services industry experience
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design
Required Skills:
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Cross-functional team leadership
  • Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in fast-paced environments
Preferred Skills:
  • PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification
  • Knowledge of LMS, LXP, and eLearning tools (Articulate Storyline, SCORM, xAPI, HTML5)
  • Familiarity with performance consulting and learning technologies
