- Contract Duration: 12 months (extension and conversion possible)
- Start: October 1, 2025
- End: September 30, 2026
- Pay Rate: C$50-C$60/hr
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, core business hours
The Project Manager will lead medium-to-high complexity Learning & Development (L&D) projects within a major Canadian bank. The role focuses on implementing innovative learning solutions, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery in an Agile/hybrid environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Drive portfolio alignment with business priorities for L&D initiatives
- Manage end-to-end planning and delivery of learning programs (ILT, eLearning, webinars, workshops)
- Support vendor selection, engagement, and onboarding
- Develop stakeholder engagement strategies and maintain strong relationships
- Lead project reporting and communication with stakeholders at multiple levels
- Ensure governance, risk, and issue management are maintained
- Partner with L&D CoEs to develop delivery and change strategies
- Conduct retrospectives and apply lessons learned for improvement
- Stay current with Agile, hybrid, and L&D project management practices
- Participate in PM community knowledge-sharing and continuous learning
- 7-10 years of project management experience
- Proven ability to manage medium-to-large, complex projects
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience
- Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office Suite
- L&D project management experience (highly preferred)
- Banking/financial services industry experience
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Cross-functional team leadership
- Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in fast-paced environments
- PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification
- Knowledge of LMS, LXP, and eLearning tools (Articulate Storyline, SCORM, xAPI, HTML5)
- Familiarity with performance consulting and learning technologies
