Software Engineer (.Net Core) – 1 Year Contract – Singapore

We are seeking a Mid-level C# .Net Software Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in .Net Core. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with complex enterprise systems, troubleshoot real-world issues, and play an active part in digital transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance and support for enterprise applications, investigating and resolving system issues for internal and external clients.
• Analyse and implement enhancement requests to improve system functionality and performance.
• Participate in stages of the SDLC, including system reviews with Project Leads/Managers.
• Design and document system enhancements, proposing appropriate tools and solutions.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure applications meet SLA requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system interdependencies and propose efficiency improvements.
• Share knowledge and provide guidance to junior engineers.
• Stay up to date with new technologies and solutions that can improve system support and development processes.

Experience Required:

• C# .Net Core Expertise: Minimum 2 years of experience in C#, .Net Core/Framework, .Net MVC, and Entity Framework.
• Web & UI Skills: Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Database & API Skills: Experience with SQL, RESTful APIs, and JSON.
• Agile Experience: Familiarity with Agile methodology is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for working on complex enterprise systems.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies (OAuth).
• Knowledge of React JS or other frontend frameworks.
• Exposure to Telerik, Kendo UI, TFS/VSTS, SSRS, or SSIS.
• Microsoft-related certifications are a plus.
• MS SQL Server 2012 and above.

This is a 1-year contract to start, renewable and convertible to permanent.
