Job Title: Agile Coach

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Agile Coach to lead and support our Agile transformation initiatives across multiple portfolios and programs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience launching Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and a proven track record of coaching Product Owners (POs), Scrum Masters (SMs), and cross-functional Agile teams.

We are also open to considering seasoned Release Train Engineers (RTEs) who bring strong facilitation, team coaching, and transformation leadership capabilities, with deep experience in Agile frameworks and Scaled Agile delivery models.

This role demands not just Agile expertise, but a strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline integration, and the ability to bridge gaps between business, development, and operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile transformation initiatives, with specific focus on ART launches, SAFe implementation, and Agile scaling.
  • Coach and mentor Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Agile teams to drive maturity in Agile values, principles, and practices.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, Inspect & Adapt workshops, PI Planning, and ART Syncs to ensure team and train-level alignment and execution excellence.
  • Collaborate with RTEs, Solution Train Engineers, and business stakeholders to implement Lean-Agile principles across programs.
  • Identify organizational impediments to Agile maturity and partner with leadership to address transformation blockers.
  • Drive adoption of DevOps culture, practices, and tools, focusing on automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and release-on-demand pipelines.
  • Advocate and implement Agile metrics (flow, quality, predictability, velocity) and use data-driven insights for coaching opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team empowerment through workshops, mentoring, and Agile best practices.
  • Provide Agile assessments and readiness diagnostics to recommend appropriate Agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, or Scrumban, based on team context.



Required Skills and Experience


  • 12–15 years of total experience, with 5+ years in Agile coaching and transformation roles.
  • Strong experience in launching ARTs, coaching at all levels of a SAFe implementation.
  • Proven ability to coach Product Owners, Scrum Masters, RTEs, and Agile teams in both foundational and advanced Agile practices.
  • Demonstrated experience working in Agile delivery at scale (SAFe preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and driving built-in quality and continuous delivery.
  • Excellent facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Agile delivery in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector; exposure to other domains like healthcare, retail, or telecom is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, VersionOne, Azure DevOps.
  • Strong communication, coaching, mentoring, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work in a global, distributed team setup.


Preferred Certifications

  • Certified SAFe® Program Consultant (SPC)
  • Certified Scrum Master, SAFe SM, SASM
  • SAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE) Certification
  • DevOps Foundation/Practitioner Certification (e.g., DASA, SAFe DevOps, etc.)
