Analyst / Associate – Leading Global Independent Investment Bank | Sydney

With a long-standing presence in Australia, the firm has built an exceptional track record advising on complex and high-profile transactions across sectors such as industrials, consumer, healthcare, infrastructure, and government.

This opportunity offers the chance to join a flat, collegiate team where you’ll work directly alongside senior bankers, gaining exposure to every aspect of the deal process - from valuation and modelling to due diligence, negotiation, and client management.
Key responsibilities:
- Support and execute M&A and strategic advisory mandates across multiple sectors.
- Build detailed financial models, perform valuation analysis, and prepare transaction materials.
- Conduct company and industry research to support live deals and new opportunities.
- Work closely with senior bankers and clients on all phases of transaction execution.
- Contribute to the team’s strong culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
Ideal candidate profile:
- 1–4 years’ experience in M&A, corporate finance, or transaction services (Investment Banking, Corporate Advisory, or Big 4).
- Solid financial modelling and valuation skills, with the ability to contribute from day one.
- Exposure to a range of industries and transaction types.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong integrity, work ethic, and professional maturity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Law, or a related discipline.
