As a radar system engineer, you will contribute to a multidisciplinary team developing next generation digital radar systems. You are responsible for pinning down the system requirements and selecting components to meet the demanding SWaP-C targets.

What You´ll Do
· Behavioral modelling of bistatic radar systems
· System level simulation to predict system performance based on key metrics (e.g. SNR, resolution parameters)
· Validation of the system model against measurements
· RX and TX architecture
· Writing requirements and specifications
· Lead system level studies across domains{{:}} HW, SW, signal processing, mechanical
· Collaborate with RF design, digital design, SW engineering and signal processing as well as mechanical engineering
What You´ll Need
· Deep understanding of TX and RX architectures and their building blocks{{:}} amplifiers, mixers, filters, clock circuits and PLLs, A/D and D/A converters
· Behavioral models of RF and analog building blocks preferably in Python
· Waveform design and digital communication principles
- Good understanding of radar signal processing Experience with bistatic radar is a plus
· Knowledge of FPGA devices is a plus
