Responsibilities
- Extract data from Spotfire reports in Clarity PPM and save it to Excel spreadsheets
- Transform data using advanced Excel formulas, Power Query, pivot tables, macros, and Office scripts
- Save Excel spreadsheets as .csv files and upload them to SharePoint folders
- Use UiPath StudioX bots to automate Timesheet Approval and BMO Pop processes
- Build and enhance Power BI desktop reports with advanced DAX expressions
- Manage Power BI workspaces, publish reports on Power BI Service, and deploy them as apps
- Include Power Apps in Power BI reports for capturing user comments, and configure Power Automate workflows for report updates
- Write SQL queries and connect Power BI to SQL Server databases for report development
- Design and update SharePoint pages, including web parts, and assign user permissions for SharePoint Document Library folders
- Conduct ad hoc data analysis and create visualizations when required
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics and visualization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, Power Query, pivot tables, macros, and Office scripts
- Skills in using Microsoft Power BI for report creation, DAX expressions, workspace management, and deployment
- Knowledge of SQL with the capability to write queries for generating reports
- Competency in using UiPath StudioX to automate business processes
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint for page design and user permissions management
- Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
- Alignment with Toronto office hours to handle early data extraction tasks
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients and teams
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Background in integrating Power Apps and Power Automate with Power BI reports
- Understanding of the Clarity PPM system for managing projects and portfolios
- Familiarity with advanced automation scripting and bot development beyond UiPath StudioX basics
- Certification in Microsoft Power BI or related analytics tools
- Skills in implementing data governance and security practices in SharePoint environments
