Scientific Business Analyst – Bioprocessing | Vienna, Austria


SciPro is partnered with a fast-scaling HeaIth Tech company at the forefront of the scientific data and AI revolution. Backed by top-tier investors and driving digital transformation across the world’s most dominant biopharma innovators, they are redefining how scientific data is harnessed across the life sciences sector. They’re looking for a Scientific Business Analyst to work onsite with a global pharma partner in Vienna.


You’ll act as the bridge between scientists and data teams, translating complex bioprocessing challenges into smart, data-driven solutions. This is a client-facing, high-impact role for someone who understands both the science and the systems behind modern manufacturing.


What You’ll Do:

  • Act as the SME bridging bioprocess scientists and technical teams to translate experimental and manufacturing requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Define and implement use cases for digitised bioprocess workflows, data integrations, and AI/ML enablement to drive automation and analytics readiness.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and architects to design and refine workflows, ontologies, and data transformation processes that turn lab data into actionable insights.
  • Lead onsite discussions, workshops, and demonstrations with client stakeholders to ensure scientific and technical alignment.
  • Promote adoption and best practices across cross-functional teams while identifying opportunities for data enrichment and process optimisation.


What You’ll Bring:

  • Background in Life Sciences, Bioprocessing, or Biomanufacturing, with hands-on experience in Pharmaceutical upstream/downstream processing, process development, or analytical development.
  • Strong understanding of how data systems support R&D or manufacturing, with exposure to tools like ELNs, LIMS, and data visualization platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate across scientific, technical, and business teams - translating complex challenges into clear solutions.
  • Confident working in high-touch, client-facing environments, often onsite.
  • Enthusiastic about applying data, AI, and digital tools to real-world bioprocessing challenges.


📍 Location: DC Tower region, Vienna (onsite 4 days/week)
