Your territory

As part of our Firmware team, you will:

  • Research and prototype new sensing technologies, data processing methods, and connectivity solutions to keep our products innovative, reliable, and ahead of industry trends
  • Dive into areas such as edge AI, low-power IoT, and advanced localization (GPS, Cellular, BLE, and beyond)
  • Work closely with Firmware, Backend, Data Science, and Hardware teams to bring innovative features from concept to large-scale deployment
  • Rapidly validate hypotheses through simulation, field testing, and data analysis to identify high-potential ideas
  • Translate experimental concepts into robust, manufacturable features that deliver measurable value to customers
  • Present your research and prototypes to a team of developers working on the transition to production FW ready code
  • Share insights, challenge the status quo, and introduce forward-thinking approaches to continuously evolve our technology and processes
  • Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”

Your profile

Key requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in firmware development (C/C++)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Comfortable with data processing and analysis
  • Background in Firmware R&D - ideally already accompanied features from proof-of-concept to production in IoT
  • Programming skills in Python (e.g. pandas, Matplotlib, Numpy,...) are a plus
  • Very good English skills
