Backend Engineers

The Opportunity We're looking for talented Java (Spring Boot) and/or Node.js Backend Engineers to join our team on a contract basis. You'll be tackling challenging projects, including work with complex, unfamiliar, or legacy codebases that require strong skills in code analysis and refactoring. Must-Have Technical Skills: ∙Backend: Deep expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and/or Node.js, including dependency management and testing. ∙Messaging & Data: Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, and S3 (Cloudian). ∙Engineering: Proven ability in code analysis, refactoring, and documenting work with UML. ∙Frontend: Familiarity with React is expected. Soft Skills: You must be analytical, creative, proactive, self-directed, and an excellent communicator. Nice-to-Haves: ∙Experience with framework migration projects. ∙Knowledge of Camunda BPMN. ∙Previous experience working in a multi-vendor environment. ∙Knowledge of PostgreSQL. ∙Proficiency in other languages.
