About the Role
We are seeking experienced DevOps Engineers to join a cross-functional DevOps team within the Platform Engineering section of the Engineering Unit (TEC Division). You will collaborate directly with product teams to design, integrate, and deploy secure, scalable, and high-performing digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and maintain standard CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git (Bitbucket), and Maven/Gradle.
- Manage artifact repositories and automate container builds with Docker and Helm charts.
- Deploy and scale containerized applications on OpenShift (OKD/OCP).
- Use Terraform, Ansible, and Minikube to build and maintain Infrastructure as Code.
- Integrate and enforce security practices with tools such as SonarQube, Veracode, Trivy, and Syft.
- Manage secrets and credentials with HashiCorp Vault, ensuring compliance with enterprise security policies.
- Maintain and update base UBI images with security patches.
- Implement centralized logging and monitoring using ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Collaborate closely with developers and testers to optimize build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Identify and resolve project-specific bottlenecks in CI/CD processes.
- Standardize and automate release management, including branching and tagging strategies.
- Foster collaboration and alignment across multiple teams in a hybrid DevOps model.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong experience with CI/CD and build tools such as Jenkins, Git (Bitbucket), and Maven/Gradle.
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Docker, Podman, Helm, and OpenShift (OKD/OCP).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, and Minikube.
- Solid understanding of security and compliance tools including HashiCorp Vault, Veracode, Trivy, Syft, and SonarQube.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Working knowledge of databases and messaging systems like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka (Confluent), and Solace PubSub+.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, ksh, or Perl.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
- Proven experience working in agile or hybrid DevOps environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to bridge gaps between technical and product teams.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Platform Engineer.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, automation, and cloud-native development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, agile teams.
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and ownership mindset.
