Role Overview:

As an IT Network & Security Engineer, you will provide hands-on support for network and security operations at the client site. You will be responsible for infrastructure stability, troubleshooting, and implementation, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and manage firewalls

Configure and maintain LAN switches

Support and deploy Aruba and Cisco equipment

Implement and manage Graylog or equivalent log monitoring platform

Provide daily onsite technical support

Troubleshoot complex network/security issues

Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders

Produce technical documentation and configuration guides

Ensure adherence to organizational security standards and compliance policies

Required Skills:

Proven hands-on experience with firewall setup & management

Strong knowledge of LAN switching

Experience with Aruba and Cisco solutions

Knowledge of Graylog or similar logging platforms

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Ability to work independently in an onsite environment

Nice to Have:

Experience working with government or legislative organizations

Knowledge of ITIL or IT service management frameworks

Additional languages: French or Dutch
