We have an immediate requirement for a Java Backend Developer with one of our clients in USA.

The position is contract and 100% remote. Need to work during EST business hours (8am to 5pm PST)

Fluency and specialization with Java Springboot framework including object-oriented design

Experience working with both Relational and NoSQL database.

Experience building products of micro-services oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs

Experience building the architecture and design of new and current systems (architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling, assessment, and proposals)

Experience writing CICD pipelines. Git Hub Actions experience preferred.

Experience in existing operational portals such as Azure Portal

Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments.

Experience in security protocols and products: understanding of Active Directory, SAML, OAuth and other Authentication protocols.

Strong problem-solving ability

Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication)

Good to have Retail Industry experience.

Experience:

8+ years of professional software development experience within a Java and Springboot framework.

3+ years of experience with architecture and design. Experience in converting Monolith applications to modern event driven or micro services architecture.

3+ years of experience with OCI, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service. Azure Preferred.

3+ years of experience writing CICD pipelines. Git Hub Actions experience preferred.

2+ years of experience in Dockers , Kubernetes and container registries.

3+ experience in working with Confluent Kafka writing Kafka producers and consumers.

3+ years of experience in working with Monitoring and observability tools like Splunk and Google Log Analyzer.
