As a Senior Data Engineer in the Lending Unit, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to ensure high-quality data delivery for business insights and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Airflow or dbt.
Develop and optimize data models in Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources including APIs and third-party systems.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across the data lifecycle.
Support the implementation of data mesh principles and decentralized data ownership.
Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and performance issues.
Required Skills:
7+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Strong proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Familiarity with Airflow, dbt, or similar orchestration tools.
Experience with data integration and API-based ingestion.
Excellent communication skills in English for stakeholder collaboration.
