About The Role

As a Senior Product Developer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional team members, including sourcing, product design, engineering, and marketing, to refine product ideas, establish development timelines, and ensure all products meet MEKA’s high standards for quality, safety, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency.

This role is partly remote, in Lithuania.

Responsibilities

  • Be the front runner of the project team and supplier chain to develop innovative, high-quality products that align with MEKA’s brand and mission, meeting budget, time, and USA children's product safety standards.
  • Create and manage the end-to-end product development schedule, organizing meetings with stakeholders to track progress and deliverables.
  • Communicate efficiently with cross-functional teams—including innovation, design, engineering, manufacturing, quality, safety, and marketing—to take products from concept to end of development.
  • Prioritize tasks and adjust the product development plan as necessary to meet deadlines and ensure quality.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and potential issues that could impact the project timeline or product quality.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure that each project aligns with MEKA’s values and high standards.
  • Negotiate trade-offs and make informed decisions about cost, quality, and product features.
  • Work closely with our sourcing team and suppliers to ensure cost-effective manufacturing, staying within our cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) targets.
  • Manage products, ensuring that documentation, packaging information, and printed materials are properly created and delivered to brand and CPSC standards.
  • Regularly review customer feedback and work with the designer to improve product designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and bring new ideas to enhance our products and processes.


Qualifications and Attributes

  • 3+ years of experience leading the development of innovative products from concept to production.
  • Experience working with project management tools, preferably ClickUp, Asana, or similar.
  • Excell - advanced.
  • Perfect spoken and written English.
  • Experience in overseeing logistics is a bonus.
