🔎 What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support our Data Platform program, driving requirements gathering, data analysis, and solution design. The BA will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, data engineers, and solution architects to ensure the delivery of high-quality data products and analytics capabilities. You would be working with one of our major international clients, a British financial company.

📍Location: 100% remote for people based in Spain

📋Mandatory skills:

• 6–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in data-driven projects.
• Strong understanding of data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and data analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and modern data tools.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• English C1

📋Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for data platform initiatives.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Work closely with data engineers, architects, and developers to design scalable data solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement elicitation sessions with stakeholders.
• Support data migration, data governance, and data quality initiatives.
• Define use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and testing activities in Agile environments.
• Ensure alignment of delivered solutions with business objectives and regulatory requirements

📋Desired Requirements:

• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
• Understanding of BI & analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Exposure to AI/ML data initiatives.

📋Work schedule

• 8-17 Monday/Friday
